Cathey is very involved with The Royal LePage Shelter Foundation as well as a volunteer for Halton Womens Place. For the past 4 years she have been a part of the garage sale for a cause in Oakville and last 3 years was the chair for the event where they raised a total of $40,000 for the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation and Halton Womens Place. As well Cathey has been on the Halton Womens Place gala committee for the last 2 years as well as last year sat on their golf tournament committee. Cathey has been a licensed Realtor for over 6 years. Becoming a Sales Representative was a natural progression as she's been involved in real estate for most of her working life, from working the front desk as a teenager, to hostessing on a new home site and years of working in a real estate marketing department. She also worked for 3 years in sales, marketing and promotions with a computer firm. Later She lived and worked in the Cayman Islands for almost 4 years where she enjoyed the rare opportunity to meet people from many diverse cultural backgrounds.
